by Mahindra & Mahindra has launched two new electric SUVs, the XEV 9e and the BE 6, with bookings beginning on February 14, 2025. Deliveries are expected to start in mid-March 2025.
Pricing & Variants
The BE 6 comes in five models and prices range from ₹18.90 lakh to ₹26.90 lakh. The XEV 9e is available in four models, ranging between ₹21.90 lakh and ₹30.50 lakh.
Key Specifications:
1. Battery and Range: Both versions include a 79 kWh battery pack that provides a range of over 500 kilometers on a single charge.
2. Performance: With a 210 kW motor, the SUVs can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in about 6.7 seconds.
3. Interior Features: The vehicles have modern multimedia systems, including a large touchscreen display that extends from the driver to the front passenger.
Unique Offerings
These electric SUVs are based on Mahindra’s in-house INGLO(INGLO is an acronym for “Indian Global“) platform and offer a combination of performance, range, and modern technology. The platform’s modular architecture offers flexibility and durability, making it suitable for a wide range of driving needs.
Pre-booking Process
Customers can pre-book the BE 6 and XEV 9e on Mahindra’s official website or at authorized dealerships across India. The online booking process is simple, requiring only basic personal and payment information to confirm a reservation.
Booking Statistics
As per sources, on the first day of bookings, Mahindra got over 30,000 reservations for the BE 6 and XEV 9e, totaling ₹8,472 crore. The XEV 9e accounted for 56% of all bookings, with 73% of buyers selecting the top-tier Pack 3 edition.
